Introduction to Suzuki Violin

Experience the joy of making music together in this engaging, family-style class! The class introduces students to the violin using the Suzuki Method, providing a strong foundation for studying a musical instrument. Participants will learn the basics of how to care for and hold the violin through songs, movement, and games. Through interactive musical activities and games, students will develop foundational musical skills and concepts in a joyful and positive environment. Parents/guardians participate alongside their child as learning partners, creating a shared musical experience and extending learning beyond class time. Please plan to attend together!

Box violins and materials are provided for the first classes, and assistance with violin rental is available through a partnership with LA Violin Shop. Students are highly encouraged to enroll in the full Suzuki violin program, which includes weekly private lessons, as a prerequisite to joining the Level 2 class.
